Honestly, I hope Michael grows up a bit and starts enjoying teaching his little brother. After all, I think he has potential to actually desire to understand humanity and the lesson God wanted him to learn. So, hoping Michael learns to love and accept Cas.

I'm going a completely different way with Michael then they did at the end of season 5, but which I think totally works with what we saw the first time Dean met Michael.

Yeah, it really does! And thnaks.
I kinda like being able to show snippets of him hunting without needs to describe the whole hunt from start to end. It's not the focus of this fic, but I don't believe that he'd give it up when there's nothing he can do about the Apocalypse. People are who he's fighting for.
I think it will take a lot to make him stop thinking that, given his personal history.
