Into Temptation Masterpost: Despite millennia of steering clear of his family, Gabriel found himself completely unable to resist looking up the two vessels destined to allow his brothers to end it all.
Gossamer Empyrean: A hunt dealing with missing persons quickly leads to an elaborate plan in a desperate attempt to prevent what is happening and possibly save one of the kidnapped children. The only problem? Dean isn't at all enamored with the role that he has to play. He'd rather be doing something other than playing Castiel's sex slave and looking pretty.
And Trickster Makes Three: After Avalon, Dean is plagued by doubts about his role in his new relationship with Castiel and as he struggles to come to terms with it, he also has to deal with Sam asking questions and the little fact that there is an Apocalypse going on. So when Gabriel shows up, it does not make things any easier, but rather far more complex, especially when Dean starts to subconsciously remember his last meeting with the archangel.
