Note: The idea for this trilogy was inspired by the Death entry on the July 2011 community bingo card over at the dean_slash comm. The first fic in the trilogy was written then and the other two were thought up to fill the Castiel and Threesome squares respectively, though neither was finished before the bingo closed.

Summary: What could have happened after Castiel's God declaration if Death had intervened.
Little Deaths: After the events of 6.22, Death visits Dean again.
At Death's Door: "You on your knees swearing your allegiance and love to him will be enough to blind him to all else."

For those of you curious about the choice of titles, 'little death' is a translation of the phrase the French use to describe orgasms, 'at death's door' is of course the idiom for being in grave danger and 'in at the death' means to be present at the conclusion or climax of a situation. As for the series title, well these fics deal with the Purgatory issue as we knew it at the end of season 6 and, well, Dean kinda has to go through purgatory for Cas here and does so willingly.
