Title: Atlas Shrugged

Summary: After everything they have fought so long and hard for has fallen apart, Castiel suggests a radical and absolutely forbidden plan.

Note: I know that there is a book out there with the title "Atlas Shrugged," but this is in no way, shape or form related to that. I can't even remember what the book is about now, all I know is that I've loved the title ever since I first heard it. It brings up such a beautiful image of what would happen if Atlas ever did shrug and that's what's drawn me to the title ever since. It also really fit the idea I had for this fic as it revolves around Castiel having had enough and doing something that it absolutely forbidden and altering everything. So in a sense, he's the one shrugging and saying to hell with the consequences. So, really, I could have gone with "Castiel Shrugged" but that just doesn't have the same imagery and connotations to it that "Atlas Shrugged" does, so I stuck with the original.
