I'm glad you're home! I was kind of thinking about you the other day and wondering if I should message you to make sure you were okay, but at the same time I don't want to spook you out by doing that.

Ashley is an awesome boy's name. It sounds like manly to me. Like if you decided to name a boy Ashley before he was even born, he'd come out of the womb with a bowie knife in one hand and a bottle of Jack in the other.
