I tend to disable comments and/or lj-cut ranty stuff because most of the replies I get are either redundant or the same shit I've seen a hundred times already. repeating something inane as "GET OVER IT" don't always help solve the problem. also venting is for venting and lj is good for that? idk. it just seems dumb once in awhile that anyone even comments on some things so locking comments is a nice option instead of reading through a ton you don't wanna.

probably. I'm really gung-ho about having only people I frequently talk with. That being said, I'd be happy to add you back granted we chatted a little more, on LJ or elsewhere

See, I'm comfortable with that. The problem I have is, I see an entry with open comments - even if it's venty/ranty - and I think, "Oh, it's up for discussion," so I offer my opinion. But I know that isn't always what people want? And yeah, different strokes for different folks.

Hey, I'm open for anything. I know that by you ranting/venting, I should open up to something, y'know? And I know that my anger can get out of hand sometimes, but things happen. I've been talking to her over and over for the last six months and... yeah, just not going to go there.

Eventually, I just walk off. It's what I always do.

Contrary opinions are what I'm often looking for if I leave a ranty post open, because hearing people agree with you all the time (while nice) gets really boring and paranoia-inducing.
