Very interesting. Since I've never seen the episode(s) this is based on, it's very suspenseful for me. I keep wondering how they're going to fix the problem. I like seeing Bates again and I liked the scene where they're trying to explain the problems to O'Neill who's just accepting them calmly.

Thanks. :) I can really recommend SG-1 to you, it's perhaps the only sci-fi show on television where I loved all the main characters without exception. What I particularly like in it is the fact that they don't seem to take themselves so horribly seriously - which is why I've preferred the series to the original movie from the beginning ( ... )
