So, I'm evaluating Tumblr as an alternative to LiveJournal. It's pretty cool, and makes sharing quotes and images a lot easier than LJ does. If you're interested, I'd love to see you there. I love tumblr, I follow a bunch of graphic ones. Very neat.

But unless you're going to change from text based to visual media based posts why go tumblr?

A few reasons.

1) I really like the interface.

2) I really like that it automatically formats quotes (something I post a lot).

3) I like its integration with Facebook.

There isn't a huge reason that made me say "hey, fuck LJ", it's just that I've been here for nearly a decade, and it's more or less identical. I like forward movement. :-)
