Golitsyn ponds at Gorky Park

You can find lots of beautiful birds in Golitsyn ponds at the Central Gorky Park in Moscow, such as graceful swans, a big family of ducks with a brood of ducklings, pigeons and sparrows. The park has changed in a positive way. Now it is a very nice place in the very center of Moscow.

I love these! :D

I sometimes see Mallard ducks at our little park here, but I haven't seen any swans. I've seen Canadian and white geese, though. :)

Yeah. It has a trail around the small lake. The trail is 3/4 mile, and we walk around it several times. Part of it has a board walk with a railing made of wood, and part of it goes up through the edge of the woods. It also has a covered picnic area and a playground area. My daughter-in-law and I walked it recently. The guys were with us (including little 3-year-old Josiah), but they didn't even make it around all the way before they sat down on a bench. :P
