Ooo, either Doctor/fem!Master or Jack/fem!Master sounds awesome to me! ;) I'm a sucker for a villain-redeemed-by-love sort of story, what can I say? (I definitely don't advocate trying to follow that notion in real life, of course, O_O but in fiction, I love it! ;) )

Have to agree it doesn't generally work out well in real life but I too am a push over for a redemption story.

I remember yonks ago someone did an AU for the TV Movie where the Master was a woman... it had Eight saying 'You never got over me going out with the Rani, did you?' Classic.

I'm not that fond of stories where character randomly change sex but one where the Master was always female would be fine.

Thank you for the feedback. I understand completely, there are dozens of female Doctor stories out there and I have yet to find one I can warm up to enough to enjoy. I am hoping that the logic behind why he changes is sufficiently plausible that it will be, along with the proper handling of what would be quite a traumatic event for the Master enough to make it reader accessible.
