I was so excited to see you actually posted this that I actually can't even tell you! <3 First of all, HOORAY for actual Happy Endings fic, because I am completely unaware of a fandom as of yet, and besides, this show is AWESOME and deserves to at least have more people talking about it, you know? And writing fic, of course.

Onto the fic itself, it was really cute to go through and describe how they all met one another. I think I tend to forget a bunch of things about the origins of their relationships -- that Jane and Alex are sisters, first off, and that they all knew each other in high school. On the one hand, it's nice that the show doesn't dwell too much on how-we-know-each-other in such a young show, but on the other hand, I'm a backstory whore who WANTS TO KNOW.

So I guess what I'm saying is, this is my new headcanon until the day when (if?) the show decides to prove you wrong. Especially the scene where Dave meets Max, because it was particularly hilarious. (And I also love Max most of all.) Wonderful fic!!!!!!!

Ha, this isn't even the fic I told you about earlier (if I told you about the Max and Penny fic, which I may not have). Anyway, I just pretty much wrote this today. :P

I love backstory, too! And, yeah, Max dialogue is the best.

It's wrong that the main thing I got out of this fic is that I'd be all over Penny/Dave if it happened?

But I loved the Brad section, and I loved the Penny section. And I loved everything else. (Even if it did make me wonder... how did everyone in the friend group meet?)

I would also be into Penny/Dave! There was some info floating around (or maybe I just made it up? I dunno) that Penny was originally meant to have a crush on Dave, so.
