Sounds like you had a wonderful time, and it was probably more fun going on your own little adventure than going on the official tour. Your pictures are awesome! Glad you and Jenny are getting along. Was that a statue of a dog with a scarf around it? And is there any significance to that??? And what's irrashaimas?
I thought so! Adventuring on our own is always more fun. Usually.
Thank you! :D
That's Hachiko. He's pretty famous. He sits outside Shibuya station, and is probably wearing a scarf because it's winter. He was originally an awesome real dog, check him out: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hachiko
Irrashaimasu is the really polite form of "I'm coming" or "I'm going"; Irrashaimase is the imperative, so it's like a really formal 'come in', that basically translates to 'welcome'. Every single shop worker will chant it at you when you enter a store haha.
No picture of the steampunk gothloli boots?!?! :P I wouldn't have bought them either...$200 for shoes is like unreal, yo.
"I do want to eventually seek out Takeshita Dori and have oishii parfaits while creeping for kanon, though, haha"
LOL...PLEEEEEAAASSEEE DOOOOOO~ IIIIITTTT!!You can then, like a ninja, capture him. Then make him fit in a box and mail him to me and I will consider that my birthday and Christmas present from now until I die. Srsly.
Also, please excuse me if I ask lots of questions between now and when I leave for Japan as I have many small things I am curious about. First thing: I saw the picture and that shrimp looked HUGE. Did you just pick the whole thing up with your chopsticks and eat it? Are knives provided for cutting up food?
All my questions will likely all be like this one. Something very trivial, cause ya know.....HRMax, herself, is very trivial :P.
Love ya! You'll need to reserve like a whole day for Akihabara lol. Too much awesome in one area >__Did you guys pass on Shinjuku? I saw no mention of it
( ... )
I realized my folly when I got home and was trying to failishly describe them... :(
I will also do my best to kidnap kanon, but the police here apparently like to lock up gaijin for silly things and kidnapping bassists probably counts soo~ I'll have to be careful. :X
Only chopsticks were provided. What I did with the shrimp was I pilled off that extra crazy breading around the edges with my chopsticks first, and then picked up the tail with my fingers and used the chopsticks to hold it up while I took bites of it. Impolite? Possibly. Effective? Definitely. :D
It's very possible that we were in Shinjuku and saw a bunch of stuff but it was dark by the time we left Shibuya for Harajuku's direction, so I don't yet have much to say about it haha. :(
I would totes go but unfortunately the Asia Cup is in Qatar. >_< Lame. I do agree that the players are sexyfine though. :D
as an endnote, HRMax is never trivial. Even when she is. :D
Me too!! I'm really bad with buying shoes especially, so hopefully I'll manage to find and buy cheap things, even though I'm probably a size bigger than anything they sell here. :X
I had no idea, if it makes you feel any better. >.> *sports-illiterate*
Sounds like you are having an awesome time! I'm glad you are having fun! Don't continue to be late for everything though or it will just stress you out more. I am impressed with your damage control though.
YOU ARE GOING TO THE MEIJI SHRINE!!!! That's like one of the most controversial places in Asia!!! Please take lots of pics for me! Oh please, please!!
This lateness actually wasn't my fault! :O My roommate got lost in on her way back to the dorm and I had to wait for her to find her way back because neither of us have cell phones yet. :X But for sure, I will be prompt from here on forward :D
Why is it controversial?! I didn't know that! I will def take many pictures when we go :D

Also, I just learned that Ashes is cricket, not football. I think people actually wanted to hit me. Oops.
