It seems I'm never very good at keeping up with these postings.  I always start out with the best intentions, but I'm a natural-born procrastinator.  I actually procrastinate on my procrastination.  I begin to wonder whether I will every get my dissertation done with this kind of track record.  Then I remember that I have two years left - meaning

I saw a post referring to it on one of the mailing lists I lurk on, and I swear I instantly panicked. I'm sure it's pretty well in line with the average grad school case of impostor syndrome, but I'm just so afraid that people will read it and think it's totally inadequate/obvious/elementary/add random adjective of unworthiness here.

Pfeh! Whatever anyone might say, chances are, *they*'ve never gotten anything published. So, first and foremost, congratulations *on* getting published. I know all too well how painful and generally annoying the whole process is, and hey, you made it through your first time.

The next will be much easier!
