So here's my short wishlist:

Sailor Moon S vol. 12 - "The Awakening" (TV Edit VHS)
Sailor Moon SuperS (TV Edit versions)
Tantei Gakuen Q (Detective Academy Q) Region 2 Japanese DVDs (ANIME VERSION, WIDESCREEN FORMAT)

I've been able to locate Sailor Moon S vol 12 on Amazon, but there's only one listed seller who wants to sell the VHS tape for $99 which ( Read more... )

$99?! For a freakin' VHS tape? They must be smoking crack.

There's a used bookstore near my place that I go to every couple of weeks. I know they have Sailor Moon tapes but I have no idea how much they charge. Would you like me to take a look for the volumes you need?

I haven't forgotten about your VHS. I'm making a trip out to the bookstore Sunday and I'll take a look unless you found them already?

Goodness, I can't find that volume anywhere.. ;~; Are you certain that it was ever released? :c I've noticed with amazon before, that unreleased things (like the Disgaea 2 vol 3 manga) sometimes are listed to be sold for that same amount- but to my knowledge, it was never published. (Would that make the item selling for 99 bucks a "prototype", of sorts? I have no idea..)

Just throwing that out there for ya, in case. ; ;

I'm pretty sure they were released. At least according to Sailor Moon Uncensored's posts. They were supposed to be released November 27, 2001 and as far as I know, the complete series for Sailor Moon S was released and Pioneer only cancelled plans for VHS releases of Sailor Moon SuperS.

Hm! Looks like you are right. ;-; (Which is a good thing for you, definitely!)

I guess my only recommendations could be to keep checking ebay... And craigslist? @_@ Sometimes, if you do a google search and type, say "sailor moon VHS craigslist", you'll come up with listings from all over the place. I've gotten many books from where, from all over the US, so long as I tell them that I will for sure pay for shipping.
