It's nothing special, just an idea I ripped from a book I was going to re-read: on their planet there's a natural force called the fae that reacts to the people around it. For example, if you worry that your gun is going to jam, the fae will insure it does. If you have complete and utter confidence in that it won't, the fae will make sure it won't. If you get scared and imagine nightmare-ish shit, the nightmare-ish monsters and shit become real, etc etc. It kind of sounded like something the landlord might play around with.

I tried to change my nose ring, couldnt get another ring in, then couldnt even get the one I took out back in. Stupid hole closed up in like one second. But its cool, I actually enjoy not having one. Waste of money.

A lot of people are pierced with 16s. For some people, it's just standard (it'll depend on the shop you go to). I've even seen dudes pierced with 18g. The retainers we sell at HT are generally pretty long and we always have some for 16g.

But ack, yes, it's SO easy for new piercings to close up. ;; I'm sorry that happened!

Really? Maybe it's just down here then, or this area in particular. Damn near everything here is done with 14, except nose studs. 16s/18s are the more feminine choices.

It's alright! It was a good lesson in not letting things that could catch come near them |D;
