Quick weekend television review. And Monday.

Kolchak - If Carl Kolchak and John Winchester aren't hunting buddies, then at the very least, they run in the same circles and piss off all the same people with their obsessiveness.
SG1 - First episode in... er, a year and a half to hold my attention. Daniel-Disneyworld. Heh.
SGA - First episode in ( Read more... )

Pity they spoiled it with the stupid audience questions at the end.

Yeah, I didn't even make it through the first audience question before changing the channel; asking an actor who they ship their character with can never lead anywhere good, and almost certainly seems utterly ridiculous to the actor. At least, it would to me, unrepentant shipper though I am as an audience member....

His song was hilarious. And I somehow hadn't known he'd written a book, but now I'm tempted to find a copy, too.

Love that practically all he said about Jennifer Morrison was that she's pretty, but he mentioned that Jesse Spencer's a good actor (or talented, or whatever it was). Heh. Biased? Me? :)

I turned it off too. If that was the calibre of questions they were going to go with, there just wasn't any point. I was embarrassed on behalf of all of them.

Based on the reviews I've seen of it, "The Gun Seller" sounds hilarious. Unfortunately it's a bit pricey. Even in paperback, apparently.

And yeah, I was amused by his comments on his coworkers. I'm glad we share the bias. :)

I haven't seen any episodes of Night Stalker before, but I was very pleasantly surprised.

They always ask stupid questions on Inside the Actor's Studio. However ridiculous James Lipton is, at least most of his have a point.

Oh. Hmm... It is called Night Stalker, not Kolchak isn't it? Oops. *g* I rather enjoyed it too, but did spend most of the hour wondering if he and John would hit it off or just end up shooting each other. And where all the crossover fics were. ;)

I wasn't very impressed with the IAS host. I think part of the problem was that I already knew about most of what they were discussing from other interviews I've read. But it was also just a weird style. "Here is a statement someone else has previously written about you. Comments?" I did like the rapid-fire bit near the end though. That seemed more spontaneous and original. Favorite swear word? Heh.

And oh, I love your dorklings, too. FLING!!! Hee. Catapults should be issued to everyone. Life would be so much better.

Psych is one of my guilty pleasures this summer. It's insanely silly, but Shawn is just such a joy to watch.

I'm glad that the dorklings could entertain you today. And yes, everyone should have a personal catapult. Hee!
