I'm glad your mei mei liked it. I keep torturing mine with comments like "Did you know Jimmy's palomino had a name?" (Sundance) and leaving her voicemail about watching Jimmy ride off into the sunset.
Maybe your da is where the dorklings get their own twisted sense of logic. Your da just never outgrew it. *coughsGallifrey*
*snerk* Yeah, the only reason I'm so good at figuring out what Da usually means is because my own logic can often be equally torturous. My whole family is warped. The dorklings are doomed. *g* Third generation lunatics.
Oh, speaking of hereditary insanity... There's a very spiffy Dark Angel/Supernatural crossover in which Alec is a convoluted Winchester relation and muses about the stability of his family's genes. *g* It actually made me sniffly in the end.
And sadly, I can still look at the statement "Roger Daltrey is from Gallifrey" and part of my brain persists in thinking there is nothing wrong with that. It's apparently been stuck in there so long I doubt it's ever going to be completely irradicated.
Awwwwwwwwwww. That was good. Very good. Very in character too. *sniffles*
Insanity is environmental, I swear. I suffer from the same paranoias that Dad does, and I'm sure I'll pass them on to my children. Dear god, Gred and Forge are gonna be obsessively early wise-cracking punners, since punning is hereditary on Tim's side. *whimper* I'm not having children.
Yes, you are. You need to have children for my entertainment um... for me to spoil and corrupt er... because they will be cute and cuddly and bring you great amusement joy. *g*
House will show you how poorly Samantha Mathis has aged. I thought it was her older sister/mother!
I think I am dropping The Unit, despite the Scooter love. The 'at home' is one note, and rather lame (plus, I hate them all from ingenue, to hussy, to queen B). The high level fighting is just stupid because it would not happen - the FBI would simply arrest 'The Unit" for breaking federal law (hell I know that posse comitas (sp?) comes into play...and I am a Canadian).
When it comes to the actual unit part of The Unit...I like Haysebert, but he is so wrong for the role (he should be the Terminator guy), the cuckold is a little one-note (and that note is Angry!). Scooter seems too soft...and the other two guys are just filling a quota for future stories (the African-Canadian and the vaguely Arab looking guy) based in places where white people stick out a little.
H-h-h-how can you watch it after Bones...Veronica Mars in on after Bones!
Eh, I just turn my brain off entirely and watch for the pretty and the stuff that goes BOOM! *g* And yeah, their quota-filling cast is very paint-by-numbers, but they're awfully easy to look at.
It seems I am the only person in North America who never managed to get into Veronica Mars. It sounded good in theory, but the show just didn't grab me. I'm fickle that way. You are now horribly appalled by my television viewing standards, aren't you? ;)
My family is an endless source of amusement for me. *g* And I suppose Josh and Matt do look sort of maybe a wee bit almost like at least close to the same age. Hee!
Duh. Where have you been? Sometimes I think you just aren't reading things and then trying to pretend it's me losing my memory. ;p It can't always be my fault. Can it? *g*
