An update on the miscellany of my life
Well, writing seems to be happening again. That may have something to do with the restoration of a more sane work schedule where I actually have time to think about things rather than react to them. There was some beautiful wood laminate flooring that looked like true hardwood flooring. It's sold as planks that lock together. I'm somewhat tempted to put this in the bathroom (a bleached wood tone), but I don't quite believe the whole "It's waterproof" claim.
And then there were these laminate tiles that looked like ceramic tile (but not as hard or brutally cold) that were sort of a weathered copper green. The tiles are laid just the same as ceramic and can be grouted to look like ceramic tile.
So many temptations.
But first the bathroom must be fixed. I hoping that experience will convince me I don't really need to do the kitchen quite yet, although it will need to be redone some time within the next few years.
