Great to hear from you! I can't wait for MFF. It should be a blast as always and we can hang out more. I am curious what it was about the Zoo that bugged you though?
It was mostly that a lot of decisions were made very poorly, in my opinion. The zoo was run as a business first, and a zoo second. Animal welfare was sometimes sidelined for the bottom line. I can go into more detail in person if'fn you want. Some of it was stuff that probably shouldn't be talked about in an online forum. :p
Suffice it to say, most of my experience with animals was working at much smaller places. The people tended to care more about the animals than anything else and that's why I loved those jobs. I just wish the bigger places were run with the same ideals.
Yup yup! It'll be at least a year before I move up to Canadia land, so I'll be here a bit longer.
I was thinking about a temp place, but I really don't have a lot of experience with office-y type work sadly. I could definitely give it a shot though.
It's good hearing from you again. I'm more sorry than you probably know about you and the rest lost in that flood. I'm sure Moose and Jevona are having a great time in their temporary housing. I still wanna visit them once they move back.

I recommend temp agencies as good sources to find mostly constant income, though not terribly stimulating work.
