My mom and I went to see The Good Dinosaur this afternoon. It was fun, but it didn't blow me away like Inside Out did, and I thought the animation was maybe a bit too flashy. I've heard about that short! I think I might even have seen a link to it? Or maybe just a discussion of it. Glad it was good.

And yeah, re: main movie, it's not so good if the effects overshadow the story itself.

I think I saw an article about it somewhere. I didn't read the article because I hadn't seen the short yet and didn't want to be spoiled, but the title did prime my interest, though I can't remember what it said anymore, sadly.
