So Castle and Beckett get together? My sister will be happy. She's tired of the will-they-won't-they. (We've nearly finished season 4.)

Schmidt was the main reason I stopped watching New Girl. I started skipping scenes featuring him, and then I realised I'd skipped too much for the episode to make sense...

I think the writers got sick of it at just about the same time your sister did, because you're getting quite close to the bit where Castle and Beckett finally admit their feelings for each other.

I have never been a big Schmidt fan, but the ending of season two pretty much killed him for me, and nothing in the first episodes of season three have made it any better. Which is a shame, because I love everyone else on the show, but Schmidt is such a fan favorite (WHYYYYYY? This is rhetorical, I know a lot of people have an inexplicable love for mean characters) that he sucks up a lot of screen time.
