I'm a bit meh about A Very Juliet Episode as a whole, but the scene where Lassiter gives Juliet love advice? BEST SCENE EVER. "All romance ultimately ends in despair," he says, and expounds upon this theme, while Juliet nods bemusedly

It REALLY bothered me that 'A Very Juliet Episode'... wasn't.

YES! The episode with Juliet's brother had so much more Juliet than this episode, which had barely any Juliet, so I don't get the episode title at all. Is it a reference to something? Are the writers just insane? What's up with this?

It occurs to me that this is a recurring theme in Psych - your real friends are the ones who see through your bullshit, yet find it vaguely endearing if only for its constancy.

This is why I keep coming back to Psych, for all its faults. Because that theme makes me go "AAAAWWWWWWW" every. Damn. Time.
