Quick question...why did you wish Lupin to die? Any particular reason?

It's more of a "Sirius died, we all know Peter will die, so it would be poetic if Lupin died too" feeling. It's so cliche, I know; it's not because of any feelings of hate for him, even if I get so angry at him most of the times. But when I read HBP, I callously thought he'll be saved because of the "love" cliche again. So I'm glad Lupin's outcome went with the first one and not the second one.

I feel, I have a bit more fodder for snape/lupin/lily if I choose to go that way! I really like the idea of petunia, lily and snape growing up together.

Yeah, I know, more things to flesh out for Snape/Lupin/Lily too. And I had to choke back a sob about Petunia's letter to Dumbledore. Owww. But now I have a clear idea of the three of them in the playground. :3

Lupin died!!! T.T *continues to sulk* ('coz this isn't the first spoiler I stumbled upon) *sigh~*

But, yeah, he had it coming. Seriously. Wormtail's dead too anyway, and Snape.XD

I'm sorry you stumbled into spoilers; I hope people would lj-cut and be conscientious of the other people who haven't read. I know I'd hate it if they talked about something as big as this in front of me (especially since I was supposed to read the book in August and only got lucky).

I didn't think it was coming, actually. I was glad it happened, but I didn't see it. Method of Peter's death as well. Harry didn't even think about it. All he thought about was Hermione and Ron and the possibility of death...but really? He emo'ed more on Cedric's death than Sirius, Snape, Lupin, Tonks, Dumbledore, and Fred combined, the little git.

I know, I was kind of surprised with Slughorn. He spent the first war hiding like a chair, and now he's all "FOR SLYTHERIN". Is Potter that charismatic? And yay for trio!love!

I'm glad Snape went out that way though. It would be really awful if he really was a traitor.
