WAS THAT OROSASU I SAW IN THE INTRODUCTION THING. ;Dwhispered_flowMarch 3 2007, 02:24:44 UTC
Shisui came in with his notebook in hand, sitting down in the nearest empty seat, flipping about his notes, bored. Before looking up at the sound of Orochimaru's voice, waiting for a packet to come his way. He crossed his legs, picking through a knot in his hair, estimated his change so the momnt break came up he'd go get something to snack on having been slightly unprepared for that portion of "school" (not that he ever ate in Orochimaru's class, Itachi would look as aghast as he could at how "unsanitary" it would be). So many essays to do, or rather things in relation to essays; exams were a fun time. He could smell the sweat breaking out already on the people around him. (He wondered what they'd do in Drama. He hoped something to do with more yelling. Or not. Tayuya had gave him an odd look last time around.) And now, looking about his fellow students, some of them already biting at their nails at the mention of a fairly long sounding word and then exam (a girl stumbled back in the leaning of her chair). A packet fell before him;
( ... )
Sophomore though he was, Tobi wasn't prepared for what lay ahead.
So, sitting in his chair, legs dangling because Orochimaru's chairs were so fucking huge too tall, Tobi watched with the slightly not-there appearance of someone who was very stoned. (Or very Tobi.)
"...Sensei, sensei!" He calls out after the class is started, hand waving.
Hashi - Tobi =/= Haku =PsketchysmileMarch 3 2007, 18:01:09 UTC
It didn't take a genius to know what Sai knew and connect the dots, he looked around at the combination class and rose a brow - Orochimaru-sensei was not known for wanting to help his classes find the work doable - he'd usually just lecture them and you had to have enough brains to get through the rest.
He looked over to Tobi with a small amount of curiosity as Orochimaru replied to the boy's call with an impatient and ground out "what?" (Whatever happened to the subtlety of a snake, Orochimaru-sensei?) He twined his pen between his fingers, spinning it idly, eyes still fixed on the other teen and their sensei, wondering if this could make the lesson even stranger.
AHAHAHA. XD;' Sorry. I messed up. DXrightxturnxonlyMarch 3 2007, 18:03:31 UTC
"Sensei..!" He said one last time for affirmation, "Tobi doesn't knowwhattodo..." His excitement died down into shame, something so awkward on the boy who was usually so happy.
Why no, this isn't purely because I want to use my new iconsaurumophioMarch 4 2007, 00:51:49 UTC
Tobi, in general, annoyed Orochimaru. He was not a patient man, and he tolerated idiots very rarely. (The wrath of Tsunade was something he'd rather avoid, in all honesty). He looked in one of the cupboards, pulling out some laminated cards and a box of atom building blocks, handing them to Tobi. "Follow the diagrams shown on the cards and make various elements and compounds and do it quietly."
A quiet murmuring of discontent followed Orochimaru-sensei's last words; Lee straightened up in his seat and looked around for a junior partner, perhaps the only one excited about the assignment.
Deidara frowned at the paper before him. This topic wasn't reeally his thing - he much preferred chemistry and as such, tended to skip this class often, but never enough to truly get punished for it. He would have to check out Shisui's note from the last class, he noted on the sheet. "Orochimaru-sensei, what's the minimum length the essay needs to be, yeah?"
Kabuto raised an eyebrow at the Sophmores mixing with the Juniors, but said nothing. Some things were best left to himself.
He pushed his glasses back up on his nose, and glanced around the room. He knew who Orochimaru expected him to pair up with, but the question was, did he do what Orochimaru wanted, or find his own Sophmore that was not Sai.
Or, he could easily let himself be found.
He set up the books and prepared for the lesson, waiting to see what Sai would do.
Leaning against one of the cabinets, Sai couldn't have seemed much more relaxed.
Of course, seemed was the operative word.
He caught sight of Kabuto, sending him a look that said more than he'd trust to say at the moment ('Hardly subtle, is he?') and he tapped his pen against the cabinet, watching others pair up. Did he particularly care? Yes, actually, but if that was made obvious it would be playing into his hand. If they were going to pair up together, it would have to be because there was no other option.
