Shikamaru came into his first class of the new week late, although he wasn't aiming to come on time after the first week. He looked up at the task that was handed to the students. Although the trip didn't interest him all that much it would be nice to get away from school. He wrote down his short essay in one go.
There are many ways to torture people, and torture has been a way to get information out of people for many centuries. However torture can also be a way to change people that you know everything about already. Ibiki met Sai's expressionless face with one equally without expression. He glanced over the essay without making a sound, and with a brief nod, dismissed Sai back to his seat.

But not before writing something in the upper left-hand corner in red ink.

Sai returned to his seat but not before taking a glance at what the teacher had written in red ink.

"Reminiscent of Azure Koi."

Only, seemingly, Ibiki would know what that meant.
