Oh wow, I've seen the double helix type before, but the second ones are new to me. I really like them. For the first time ever, I wish I had a Hot Topic near me. My lobes are 00g and have been for several years, and I still haven't gotten around to buying any long jewelery for them, all I have are plugs of various materials.

I'm allergic to black O-rings too (but I'm allergic to everything) so I pretty much never wear acrylic stuff. Most of my plugs are wood or titanium. I've never met anyone else with that allergy!

00g! <333! I'd love to get there but I've got an office job and... 4g is still easy to disguise as "normal", you know? 6g had originally been my goal and when I got there I wore glass plugs for years so there was no stretching going on. I'm always just so nervous about getting a blowout or something. =/

Anyway, haha, I'm not allergic to anything but those black O-rings kill me. However! Just so you know, the clear/white O-rings are made of silicone, not nitrile, so you may not have an allergy to that? There's a body jewelry supply store here (in NYC) that has them, so if you want I can pick some up for you (just let me know what size you'd want ( ... )

What material could you make them out of? I know you work with silver but silver earrings require a lot more care than I want to take -- I leave my earrings in all the time, sleep/shower/etc, never take them out for months/years at a time.

Aww, yeah. =/ I haven't worn silver earrings since I was a kid. I'm still just as lazy as I was then, so no more silver earrings for me. I mean, not this type of thing, that I would leave in all the time, at least. If you ever extend your repertoire to steel or acrylic, I'd totally commission earrings from you. <3 Earrings are the only jewelry I actually spend more than $15 on. Which seems backwards from the norm, doesn't it? Haha.
