the post-Halloween Halloween party was this weekend and was also a big hit. I wanted to invite friends I don't normally invite to our parties and I'm really glad it turned out so nicely! it did turn out to be mostly my coworkers, but as AJ can attest, they are ultra cool people.

update: mom is out of rcovery and doing fine. still waiting for pop to get out of surgery.

going through cycles of alert/good then in a lot of pain/discomfort. it's weird to have been at the hospital all day going back and forth between rooms in different wings. I wish they could be in the same room at least.
