I wanted to find a "before" picture of the front of the house, but it's on the other computer and I'm way too tired to get up and go look for it right now. So is Liz. ^^ Liz found it later! But I think I'm going to wait to post it until it's all finished and then I'll take another pic from the same angle and have a "before" and "after" post

I love the landing! I want a patio in my back yard so badly, and it's because I keep seeing pretty stone like that. It's all going to look so good when it's finished. It looks like they're doing a great job with it.

Yay, thank you. It does look good -- I'm really looking forward to see it finished! Especially when the driveway and garage-turned-room are done! I'm really amazed that this is happening -- it wasn't a last-minute decision, but it's happening sooner and faster than I expected!

We also have a patio out back (of course, our backyard is a fraction of the size of yours -- this is NYC), but the previous owners had put it in. ^^
