The better question to ask yourself regarding the real estate one is do you really want to deal with all the tenents and their issues? The renting itself shouldn't be that bad, it's what comes after that sucks. >_< Bleh
Simply don't sign the contract until your interviews are over and all other options exhausted, you're creative, you can find ways to put off the signing

LOL, as I said, it's already signed, but it should all work out alright. =D It's going to be nice to have a steady paycheck with benefits too! (I'm hoping I'm not jumping the gun assuming I'll be with them for a while, though.)
