Saturday night was pretty cool -- went to Staten Island with Maryann because Victor was having a barbecue/party out on his deck. His pool was open, although I didn't know beforehand so I didn't bring a swimsuit (or shorts & a tank, or whatever), which was too bad. =( Next time I just might bring something, dunno what, but I'll figure something ( Read more... )

One of these years, I'd like to go to NYC for a gay pride parade. I had a couple chances a few years ago, but it just never happened. It seems like something that would be fun to do.

It does seem like a lot of fun, doesn't it? Though it was hot and humid enough that day that I'm almost grateful I wasn't able to catch it (and get caught in the press of the crowds).

I'm going to plan to see the parade next year, though -- I want to see the floats & stuff! ^^ I've heard that the G-string Cowboys and the Dykes on Bikes are not to be missed, LOL.

I didn't know you had an LJ! ^^ I friended you back, btw.

I know that Maryann knew about the pool, so either she forgot to mention it to me, or she did mention it and I just forgot. ^_~ No big deal anyway, I still had lots of fun. (It doesn't even have to be a BBQ thingie for me to have fun at your house, why else do we make the big schlep over to SI, hmmm?)
