Just Say "NO" to Anime.

Yesterday was Liz's last day of school (except for two finals, Friday and Monday) and she wanted to hang out with someone, so she asked Maryann to come over. As a result, both Liz and Maryann were waiting for me when I got home. ^^; We went out to eat and pick up my mom from the train station, dropped her and Liz off, and then drove Maryann to ( Read more... )

Hehe. It only keeps the latest 100 posts for each category that you tag. I have a feeling I'm going to fill that up pretty quickly. So far, I've gone back through about the last 75 of my posts. I do like using it. I've always made my subject headers match the content of my posts, so sorting out keywords isn't that difficult. ^__^

I didn't get to tell you this yesterday, but PoT gets good around episode 57. That's when my favorite team plays Seigaku. I'm a Hyotei fangirl, all the way.

Btw, Jay, DC and I will be around your neck of the woods on Saturday. We're going shopping at Mitsuwa in Edgewater. We expect to be there around 10ish, and leave before noon. We're all low on Japanese snack food. ^_________^

Good! That lets me feel *somewhat* better ~ now I don't have to justify my laziness to my own anality. ^_~;

I *do* know that there's more good stuff to come. ^^ And I do want to see it. I was *trying* to dl it from the beginning (they're available in batches of 5 eps on scarywater.net), but the dl rate is *very* slow, when I am even *able* to dl.

*takes deep breath* Do you mind if I ask if you (1) have all the episode files, (2) have a DVD burner that you could make copies of them for me if I send you DVD-Rs? I feel bad asking something like this because I know it's over 170 eps, so please *don't* hesitate to tell me you don't really have time to do it; I will *not* be offended and will *completely* understand. *runs out of breath* =D

Jay, DC and I will be around your neck of the woods on Saturday. Awwww! I want to see you guys! I don't think I'd be able to make it, ( ... )

I can burn PoT for you, but it's going to take me a while. Burning the DVDs isn't time consuming, but copying the files from CD back to my hard drive is. I usually only do that on weekends because it takes up all my PC's memory. If you don't mind being patient, I can do it for you.

Btw, only 151 episodes are subbed by Anime Otakus. I'm archiving their version, so I don't have the last set downloaded.

It takes us about 90 minutes to drive to Mitsuwa. We don't make the trip too often because Jay has that long of a commute each way to work every day. It's a lot of driving for him. It would be nice if we could arrange something, but I'm not sure when. Summer means yard work (for Jay, especially). We'll have to play it by ear. ^______^

If you don't mind doing it for me, I don't mind being patient! ^^ Besides, I think I have enough other anime from Angelica to keep me occupied for a while.

Thanks so much ~ I really appreciate it! How many DVD-Rs should I send you (or I could just send you compensation through paypal, whichever is easier for you)?

Okay, I'll start dl'ing on my own from 152. It should be easier to get those since they're later in the series. And I think Angelica might have some of the later eps saved on her computer.

It would be nice if we could arrange something, but I'm not sure when.... We'll have to play it by ear.

Then play it by ear, we shall. I guess, just keep it in mind, and if the opportunity comes up, we can try and take advantage of it. =D

Please tell DC I said hi, and that La Sheed has been pining for her. ^_~

It does get much better and you end up liking the other two guys once the extra practice starts and when they really start playing other teams in the tournament. Saizen is the group that subbed it. I've only been able to find them via Anime Suki and Scarywater.net.

I figured. Actually, during lunch I saw 2 more episodes -- and I realized that I watched SEVEN episodes last night -- and it seems as if it's starting to get a bit better. The coach put him in FW position and you finally understand why he made him practice/play defense before. (Which I thought was pretty cute/smart of him ~ but all these anime coaches keep it secret like their stupid or something. I know it's part of the story, and sometimes makes sense, but still~! LOL)

How many total eps are in the series again?
