여행기 (Yeo Haeng Gi)
Ahck, I can't believe I am posting this, but I am. This is something I started December... but left for a while. And now I've posted it on Soompi, now here (because I am much more comfortable with posting stuff here x)). My inspiration for this story has been on overload again, so I thought - why not? Maybe posting it here will give me the energy to start the typing. xD
Anyway - in ways, "The Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants" has a bit of influence to this fic. Not to mention "Vacation". This fic won't be based on those two - I hope to create my own story as much (and hopefully well) as I can. In the same vein as the two, though, each chapter of the story would be divided into four parts - each part showing a girl's changing experience in her POV.
ALSO! I know this has the same name as a reallyreally awesome OT5 fic in DBSK fandom:
yeohaengi. I love the fic, I'm a reader, and I don't mean to copy. ;__; I just really suck at coming up with titles, and thought well, Travelogue was fitting. If I do come up with something better, I'll definitely change the title. My conscious will endlessly nag me, methinks.
A good amount of my biases are here - not only the girls, but the secondary chars (notably Junsu and Jaejoong to make for my OTPs ♥). Yes, I am a SuYin fangirl. I can't help it.
SuYin is the biggest pairing in this, but there should be some JaeNa and ChangSica to keep people satisfied. ^^

prologue
The wind felt refreshing as it whipped against her back, making her hair go out in all directions. It was cool against her neck and arms and it reminded her of new beginnings, of clean slates.
Lina loved it. She loved the wind. Its roaring sound made her feel invincible and powerful, and pushed her to keep on going, keep on running to the distant figures on the other side of the field. They were constantly moving in excitement, playing and goofing around.
Now she knew how they looked like from afar, and at a close distance. Knew a good amount of Bora’s wacky facial expressions, including her cheeky grin, accompanied with her “Hwaiting” exclamations; Ri In’s bright smile that had her eyes smiling as well, rare as they came thus making them it all the more special; Jessica’s laughter, almost like a child’s, but utterly infectious even if you don’t know what it was she was laughing about. These Lina would come to see and hear as she came to an abrupt halt, a grin forming on her own lips.
The exhaustion that suddenly came down on her with all the running had her panting for what seemed like an eternity. Yet her grin didn’t falter as she watched the other three girls, running and falling on the grass and getting up again to run some more. The sound of shrieks and laughter rang throughout the field.
Lina, grinning widely, ran to them - three girls that she now called her best friends, shouting so loudly it made her want to ran further just to see if she’d ever stop.
It was times like these that she felt completely thankful. Times like these that made her smile that solemn smile that Jessica said that she was positive “that Jaejoong guy” had fallen for, that Bora said she was jealous of. Lina would then say that she was jealous of Ri In’s smile, and Ri In would refuse to accept the fact.
It was times like these that she didn’t hold a single regret for the decisions she’d made: to have gotten in her car with these very same people, off to a destination miles from home, taking a risk of having to face her nightmares and having her heart broken.
She bared out her heart, and it might be a bit bruised, and some pieces might only be clumsily placed back together, but she was healing. That was the important thing. And that Ri In learned to love, Bora found her own path, and that Jessica realized what truly mattered.
Bora brandished out her camera, resulting to a frightened Ri In running away from it. Jessica, in contrast, welcomed the camera, doing random poses and turning to yell at Ri In to come back at the same time; Lina herself was trying to stop Ri In and pulling the poor girl back near the len’s view. All four girls were laughing, chuckling to their heart's content, enjoying the wind, the warmth of the sun, and reveling in the moment.
It was time likes these that Lina was glad they were all together for the journey.
