It's Chinese New Year! This year it lands on the weekend of Valentines Day but last year Chinese New Year fell on the same day as Burns Night. There was a hell of a fuss at the University when it turned out the graduation hall was double-booked for both events. My helpful suggestion was that the two events should be merged into one:

I found it in the toilets of The Blue Lamp, a pub so charmingly outdated that it looks like it has been moonlighting as a set for Life On Mars. This might sound a little weird at first, but hear me out. Yesterday, I happened to see the cutest, most sweet, delicate and beautiful Swastika ever scrawled on a toilet wall. When I saw it, I cracked a smile about six inches wide and started giggling to myself in sheer delight. Well, just look at it!
