Although sometimes I post about cycling in general, I rarely talk about my own particular cycling experiences. When I have something interesting to report, it’ll usually find its way onto my Cycling Training Diary, but not here. This time, however, I’d like to share the details of a recent ride with you, because I have more to say about it than is ( Read more... )

OMG! This post is comments-enabled!!! ::shock:: ;)
Thanks for sharing about your adventure. I found it entertaining. Sometimes you can find such hidden places even on a walk around your home - well, around my place, anyhow. :) Patrick went on long walks both Tuesday and Weds. and is in the process of rebuilding a bridge over a river that's deep in the woods.

Congrats on making it up the very big hill! That was one hopeful raptor.. LOL :)

I can comment? I must be reading some other Ornoth's journal.

That sounds like a great ride. And I love the photos. You're quite the self-portrait expert (or did you bring an invisible friend along?).

We just discovered Stony Brook recently ourselves. It's definitely a place that bears further exploration. I also recommend World's End in Hingham, not because it's a challenging ride, but just because it's a really lovely place and I think you'd like it.

We became members of the Trustees of Reservations a bit over a year or so ago, and have been very happy with it. We've discovered a number of places we wouldn't have otherwise.
