I've had mono twice. I don't recommend it. Plan on at least a month of feeling awful and then you are more likely to get reinfected for about a year or so. That's why I had it twice. You can go to work with some versions. I wasn't lucky the first time and missed a lot of work. The second time, I kept my diagnosis to myself and didn't take the LWOP hit.

I am lucky in that they are letting me work from home as long as I don't work 40 hours a week. DM is afraid that if I am working 40 hours management will ask why I can't be in the office. Not a problem since I took Monday off and only worked 2.5 hours yesterday. But man this financially sucks
