I still haven't gotten around to watching True Blood. I've heard lots of good things though.

Wow. I can imagine how awkward that would be. I felt uncomfortable watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer w/ my dad sometimes, and that didn't even get that graphic. I'll NEVER understand how my friends could stand to watch Queer as Folk WITH HER MOM! Talk about awkward!!!

It's not usually the kind of show I watch (the style is similar to Deadwood and Six Feet Under), but...I had to give it a shot because it has vampires(!) and it's actually quite good. I definitely recommend it. :)

Ahahah, I could never watch shows like Buffy with my family either. I prefer my family viewing material to be no more than PG. She watched Queer as Folk with her mom? Just imagining watching something like that with my mom makes me squirm, lol.

I am loving this show. I had a marathon and caught up on it he other week (much better than doing uni work right?!).
I know what you mean about watching it with people though- I watch it with headphones on now, in case my flatmates overhear it and get the wrong idea!

Oh yes, that is definitely preferable to doing school work. *g* In fact, I did the same thing last night, heh. Watching it in a marathon does the show a lot more justice than waiting week-to-week...I personally loved it more having a few to watch at once.

Hahaha, it's just not one of those shows you can watch with others, is it? Thank god for headphones! I even have my computer screen turned away from the door when I'm watching it just in case my brother walks in...
