completely bonkers

- I hate making small talk at the doctor's office -- I know it's simply being polite, but I'm uncomfortable as it is with the poking and prodding without trying to think up witty responses. Plus, I answered the same questions three times (for the attendant, then the doctor, finally for the last attendant), and I get asked the same stuff every visit ( Read more... )

rl, rambling, movies, doctor who, silliness, links, randomness, middleman, dr. horrible

Yaaaaay!! I'm jealous :P

Ha! I'm sure it was just a fluke. :P

rofl! Genius ♥

You call it genius; my family calls it mental. Toe-meh-toe, Toe-mah-toe.

*sigh* *empathizes*

Seriously!

:O :O :O :O :O *demands that you go and see Batman Begins right nowish so that you may feel the same excitement for the sequel that I've been feeling for the past two years*

Heh, I know! I completely suck! I still have yet to see BB, but I did flock like a sheep to the theater and watched Dark Knight. Definitely deserves all the praise and flailing (especially Heath....damn he made a great Joker!), ...but I just couldn't muster up any flail for it myself. What's wrong with me, Zut????

Every episode thus far (through "The Manicoid Teleportation Conundrum") has used the Wilhelm scream in some way.LOL! Now I want to watch the eps again just to "spot" the scream. This show just keeps getting better and better (which obviously means it's likely to get canceled, woe ( ... )

My brain, it is cracked. Impossible it would be to put back together. ;)

Sigh, depression makes me not much fun to talk to and not very eager to talk. I'm so sorry for not calling or replying to your last email yet. Me=FAIL. :(

I do hope you're well though. *HUGS* How's SGA? Did you like the DW finale? It really makes me want to kick someone when Sci-Fi cuts scenes and puts *major* spoilers in the previews though...

Your cracked brain matches-- or at least complements-- my own. ;)

No fail, I just miss you. And I'll be away next weekend. I don't mind you when you're grumpy, and I'm sure chatting about DW will help. *winkwink*

I'm well. SGA has pleased me a great deal, inconsistent though it may be. And DW as well. I have issues with it, but I still really liked it. And you? /unsubtle hinting

Oh man, I know what you mean about the smalltalk. It's like, okay, I appreciate your efforts to be friendly and put me at ease, but I don't need coddling. Just do the exam and let me go. The worst is at the dentist, for me. I've had some people want to talk to me while they're cleaning my teeth. Bzuh?

Exactly! And I agree that it doesn't get any worse than at the dentist's:

"So, how's school going?"
...*gargle* *mumbles* *spits* *more gargling*

So gross!

The good news is that my eye prescription has not changed from last year for the FIRST TIME EVER. Huzzah!
Yays!

Bwahaha, I love your casting. ♥

but was a bit disappointed by a certain event in Act III. Typical Joss move, I suppose.
Everything can't end happy for Joss, can it?

*shakes head sadly* He's a cruel, cruel man, that Joss.

Oh! Oh! I haven't seen Batman Begins and am in no rush to. I think I'm still in "blockbuster" hero movies overload from my teen years.

Hello by the way! :D

I think I could only dream of the day when my eye prescription doesn't change. I believe that my eyes are out to get me with some cruel joke I am not involved in. Oh well. I also didn't realize that there were rules for laser surgery. You have to stay the same for a few years?

(A bit belated, but oh well) Hello! *waves* *g*

That makes two of us, but we may just be the only two in the universe, I think. Heh. I did finally give in to my brother's begging for us to go and see Dark Knight though. I can attest to it (and I'm guessing Batman Begins) being soooo much better than the typical crap blockbuster movies, even if it's not really my thing.

Ha, aww. *hugs* What is your prescription? I'm sure the lack of change was just a fluke for me, but I'm literally half-blind as it is--it better well should stabilize sometime soon!

I don't think it's a requirement, but it is definitely recommended if you want the laser surgery to last. <--According to my doctor, but who knows ( ... )

Hello again! Hey, it's you're birthday now too.
Happy birthday to you! *clap, clap*
Happy birthday to you! *clap, clap*
Happy birthday, happy birthday,
Happy birthday to you! *clap, clap*

May all your dreams and David goodness come true. :)

Honestly, I have no idea what my prescription is, although, I know I'm pretty blind! XD And the convention was fun. Although, I still think watching John do 'How Do You Solve A Problem Like Maria?' in Toronto was like the highlight of my vacation. He is amazing. It's too bad you couldn't hitchhike your way over to Atlanta so you can fondle Gareth too. (Oh, I'm keeping 'fondle'. He's well worth it.)

Aww, shucks. *blushes* I'm so sorry I hadn't replied to this, but thank you so much for the b-day greeting! *hugs*

Oh, I'll have to see if that's up on youtube... I read reports about Gareth in Atlanta and he indeed sounds like such a cutie. Definitely fondle-able. ;)
