I've never, ever understood the whole bashing of geeks thing that's been done since the beginning of time. It just honestly makes zero sense to me. Why are things like Comic-Con considered uncool? WHY? People seem afraid of what other people like. I think obsessing over sports is stupid, but you don't see me looking down on people because they do. Grr. Sorry, sensitive topic.

Grr. Society's a bit backwards sometimes, methinks. It's as if geeking out over stuff like Comic-Con is not macho or physical enough for guys and not practical enough for women. *rolls eyes* I for one respect the imagination and wit of many geeks far more than a lot of sports idols, so whatever. :/
