So I normally avoid political posts, but I've decided that I feel strongly enough about this to say a few words. I think it is incredibly short-sighted of our law makers to even consider allowing all of/parts of the U.S. postal service to fail. Agreed. I know a lot of people bitch about it, but I think it's great that I can send something cross-country for under .50 in less than a week. That's crazy when you think about it. And the USPS is really pretty good about not losing mail--given the volume they deal with, it's amazing a lot more doesn't get through. They do a good job.
