Hey there, guys:
Larkenia's Flaws has a special place in my heart -- it was there for me when I needed it, and helped me to grow as a writer, an online author, and to find out where my passions lay. I know, from reading comments and e-mails from readers, that the series has played an important part in your lives as well. So it is with great sadness

Just kidding. I can understand your decisions and I feel that when I read your work, you've shown a lot of improvement since I first started reading. I can understand your need to move on and work on bigger and better things. I feel that your more current works are more identifiable for me. I'm not actively seeking out any queer stories, but I feel that your more recent stories are identifiable just because the main characters are women. Not that I didn't find Larkenia's Flaws enjoyable, but I find that I can connect more with the characters.
At any rate, I wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors, and I just wanted to let you know that you still have my support... and my readership. ^^
BTW: I noticed that you've moved to digitalnovelist, how is that working out so far?

Good ole DN. I'm liking it a lot, actually. It took awhile to re-learn the new system, and due to differences I can't quite do the same things I was doing before, but it makes up for it in plenty of ways. It's convenient (particularly for people like me who aren't online all the time), it's easy, and it allows me a lot more reader interaction than I was getting before (hopefully). I'm still getting the kinks out (my site was just handed over last night), but so far I'd really recommend it.

Sounds interesting and convenient. I've been looking into it for a while, but I needed to hear about it from someone I know who has just switched over (and who has yet to pimp it out. XD). At any rate, once I get my finances together, I'll definitely look into it and see if it is something I'd like to invest in. I wonder if I can still keep the format of my site... I shall ask when the time comes.

To my shame, I'm still not au fait with your work. I've had the relevant sites bookmarked for ages & will get around to exploring at some point.
As writers, unless we are moved by what we are creating, there seems little point to me. And we evolve as writers; the work reflects the changes & vageries of our various experiences.
Being true to your vision is what matters, Morgan. In my humble view, you are right to follow your heart & instinct.
May good fortune attend you, my dear! And once all my own 'carry-on' is over, I shall endeavour to find & read you with the attention you undoubtedly deserve! :)

And lols, don't worry about not having gotten to my stuff yet. You're uber-busy, and that's great!

They don't always hear us though, assuming, that because they don't write & we do, we're marvellouslly clever & it's all so easy. Which is wonderful in it's way (we have fragile egos, we feed off their loveliness!) but at times, it skips the soul of it. I am blessed in earthdragoness. She supports me & encourages (& strokes my ego occasionally) but she really listens too.

I can totally understand the process by which we outgrow our writing. After a while, it can chain you to the past.
Do what makes your heart sing. When it comes to writing, if you love it, somebody else will probably love it, too.
