Well, nothing too interesting has been going on for me. If you guys check my main journal regularly, you know I got broke and had to let it fade to an unpaid account. The only trauma for me is the icons -- I'm such an icon-whore I still haven't figured out what to do about this particular dilemna

Don't worry too much about NaNo: if it's going to be stressful and take too much time away from your other projects, then don't do it. I kind of have the same problem, in that I have so many other projects sitting there unfinished that I feel kind of guilty starting something new for NaNo.

I watch things like previews for Survivor and think how miserable I'd be without a notebook

Ha, I first interpreted that as meaning you'd need a notebook to watch Survivor, because that's about the only way I think I'd be able to sit through one of those shows. "Hm? Something's on TV? Oh, yeah, guess it is."

And NaNo isn't as important as projects you already have going. Don't feel too guilty about not doing it. It's terrible for creating lots of loose ends, but not really at producing anything terribly useful, I've found.

Lols -- I don't think I could watch the show. Even the commercials tend to make me wince, lols.

I'm inclined to agree with you on the NaNo thing. It was great for getting me to a place of confidence in my ability to see fiction through, but not much use in terms of producing useful work. Blech. Oh well, depends on the need, I guess, lols.
