Do you like cephalopods? They're really neat. About 800 distinct species in the class have been identified, and they're by far the most intelligent invertebrates in and below phylum Mollusca.

There's a squid in the lake. Squid belong to one of two extant subclasses of cephalopod, Coleoidea, which also includes cuttlefish and octopuses.

Female squids tend to prefer larger partners. Before squids mate, they flicker and change colors and match each other!
