Your story was the one I voted best - I liked the characters , and the situation. It had a chilling ending, and in general made me want to know more about the story - what had happened to her, why they were out there in space, etc.

Great use of the prompt.

I really enjoyed your story, and what made it the best for me is that it works on a lot of different levels - as a science fiction story of man vs. machine, as a lover's quarrel, as an exploration of an abusive relationship, as a bit of suspense as to what's going to happen.

I quite liked it, though it did leave me wanting to know more, and wishing it could have been a bit longer to have included more background. Like a lot of the science fiction that I most enjoy, it showed that certain aspects of human nature are timeless - that even in a futuristic setting, some things about the ways that people treat each other will always be the same.
