The sword does operate very differently from the Halo 2 sword. In general, they added a delay after you take out a super-weapon.

Did you notice how the game made a lot more sense when you take into account the stuff you read in the books?

Actually, the after-credits bonus in Halo 1 was Guilty Spark flying away from Halo. I forgive you.

I didn't like that there was absolutely NO explanation of new weapons at all. Especially the human stuff. Granted covenant weaponry is just covenant weaponry... but the upgraded human stuff (cough spartan laser) should have earned some in game dialog at least!

and FURTHERMORE I never disagreed that it was guilty spark leaving the original halo... how could I? There was no other monitor for it to be! Anyway I couldn't help but feel the ultimate disappointment was not getting to play the level shown in the commercials... how amazing would THAT have been?

Right, you had implied the after credits scene in Halo 1 was the Sgt. Johnson vs Elite butt grab. That scene happened just after you board the longsword fighter. So that's why my asshole reflex made me issue a correction.

However, if you wanted to throw it right back at me... you could just flaunt that you have an Xbox360 that doesn't flash 3 red lights.

I agree though... the Spartan laser made me think, "Did we not have these the whole time?" I can just imagine a Spartan laser the side of a house being mounted onto a capital ship. The humans would actually be winning the war.

Furthermore, the Bubble shield is supposed to be UNSC technology... so why do so many brutes have them? And why do no marines have them?
