When you are interested in them - No, you simply give up after awhile, realizing it isn't going to happen. Finding someone else can help, though. When you are/were in love with them - Yes. At least for me. It took me two years D:
i totally am one to agree that when you are infatuated with someone its like a fucking DRUG. you cant get enough of them and when you cant have them, it makes yuo want then EVEN MORE!!
but this isnt always healthy.. especially now at this time in our lives. we are young and we have the entire world ahead of us, and sticking to one guy (if they arent going to stick right back to you) isn't worth your time at all. especially for you cindy, youre in one of the hottest hubs for dating.. COLLEGE! i mean there are hotties all around you at nearly all times of the day. youre hot, i say.. work it! an old infatuation will hold onto you but in my experiences, if you just tell yourself enough that its not worth it, you train your mind/body to not want them anymore. it'll happen eventually.
