So I last worked on this in February, though I think I wrote it long before that. Just re-read it tonight, and it made me laugh, and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality, so I'm sharing.

You def got the uncomfortable father (TM) down well. And the "Jacob strongly emphasized 'son'" part was telling, as if he upheld the ignorant belief that being gay makes you less of a man. *SMH*

Heh, yeah. This is all very tongue-in-cheek, so it's not going to be too depressing (like "Texan Son" is) - I'm having fun with it. And yeah, I made a list of possible scenes, and there'll definitely be the one where they meet Zach. But I have no idea who he is yet.
