It's been so bizarre. On the one hand, I feel like Reagan reflected the zeitgeist of the country & you can't really blame/credit him for too much and we should probably respect former presidents, blah blah blah. But I also can't forget the things that made me hate his presidency so much at the time. But the media has been incredibly necrofellatic, as you note. But maybe it's just because Reagan looks so good compared to the current situation. Mostly I think it's ironic that he died from a disease that the religious right doesn't want to let us research treatments for.

ACK wish i coulda made it. i am about an hour upstate, in the hudson highlands. i haven't been able to get to the city at all (three straight weeks of work) but now that our first show is open, can't wait to get some city back into my bloodstream. let me know of any upcoming good shows ESPECIALLY on mondays/tuesdays (those are the nights that we're dark).
