Claude choked at that. Technically, there didn’t have to be a genetic connection between Claire’s boyfriend and Nathan for them both to be able to fly but Claude still felt there was something vaguely incestuous about the idea just the same.

I did also.

Hmmm I love this story. cant wait for the next part.

Yeah, I've always thought it was a little strange that they invested Claire's love interest with the same power as her biological father. But what can you do? :) Glad you're continuing to enjoy the story. More to come soon!

If it ain't even vaguely incestuous then it ain't Heroes.

Another great chapter.

Yeah, it's definitely a little strange that they chose to invest Claire's love interest with the same power as her biological father. I mean, I understand the idea that more than one person can have the same power...but did they have to go that route with it?

Ah, well. I'm nothing but a Monday morning quarterback in this case so I suppose there isn't much I can say. :) As it is, I'm glad you're continuing to enjoy the story. More to come soon!

This series is absolutely wonderful. The way you've explored Claude's and Peter's relationship is so real and moving. Your characterizations are excellent. I love how the characters interact with each other. I'm really looking forward to the next part.

Wow! Thanks so much! I'm pleased to hear you're enjoying the series so far. I have to say, I have a lot of fun writing Peter and Claude together but I sometimes worry that their interaction will seem shrill or out of character, so it means a lot in particular to hear you describe the portrayal of their relationship here as real and moving. :)

Once again, thanks so much for commenting. The next part should be up before long. I hope you continue to enjoy!
