Yes, he had seen those movies. More of them than he cared to say.

Well now I just have the best image of Claude curling up to watch "The Family Stone".

Haha, The Family Stone is EXACTLY the movie I had in mind when I was writing this. That and Home for the Holidays with Holly Hunter. And possibly Brothers & Sisters, which is basically the television version of one of those movies. :)

Anyway, I'm glad you're continuing to enjoy the story and that you're looking forward to the brief Bennet and Claude reunion in the next part (though I admit--I don't know how slashy it will be). I have to say, I thought long and hard about Claude's use of the word "fantastic" in this chapter--I knew it would sound like the Doctor and that you would pick up on it! :) All this talk makes me want to re-watch that series over again. Hmm...
