Peter looked up at the sound of his name to find Nathan standing there dressed in a brown overcoat and what appeared to be striped pajama bottoms, looking for all the world like a concerned father come to retrieve his kid from his first overnight stay at a friend’s house.

Heh. I could totally see that. And it's hilarious.

They actually got along pretty well, considering they were constant competitors for Nathan’s attention.

And that is also very true; but it has always seemed that Heidi and Peter did get along very well.

“I remembered Claude too.”

“Then you remembered him for a reason,”

I wonder what that reason could be...

Anyway, I really can't believe there's only one chapter to go! This was great, and I can't wait for the next part.

So glad you enjoyed the new chapter! I'm having a little trouble believing it's almost over myself. It's gone so fast for me that I can hardly believe the first chapter was posted way back in August. Loved all the Petrelli interaction here. Very sad to see this story start wrapping up, but so far it's been quite a satisfying ride. :D Looking forward to the last installment!

Lol, glad you enjoyed the new chapter even if the idea of Nathan giving Peter the sex talk freaked you out a bit. I admit, I was a little on the fence about the idea myself. I couldn't decide if it was kind of gross or amusing to think of Nathan having to be the one to do it (because you know he totally wouldn't want to...he'd just feel obligated once Peter reached a certain age). I must say, though, your idea about Angela Petrelli giving Peter the same talk has scarred me for life. Major ick. :)

All I can say about my own experiences with sex-ed classes it that the condom demonstration on a banana thing is something I was actually forced to sit through once upon a time. In fact, if you know what I mean when I use the phrase "condom race," you will have some idea of what I'm talking about. Very scary.

I am sorry for that. The idea of Nathan giving the talk was yicky though, and I thought about Angela because MY mom gave me the talk (sometimes I wonder if I'd been a boy how awkward it would have been to have that talk with my gay dad. You want trauma? ...)
